Special Summer Activities for Youth
Meet and pick up in the lobby of the Family Life Center for all summer events.
Join us for an exciting night full of surprising, fast-paced fun taking place in various locations all over the Conejo Valley. Bring money for a snack.
We had so much fun pillow fighting in Los Angeles last April that we're bringing the party back here. We will throw a massive pillow fight at the church, battling against other local youth groups. Be creative and paint some flags or banners to wave, make some shields, all that good stuff. After the pillow fight, we'll dig into some ice cream sundaes!
Golf-n-Stuff Tailgate Party
A tailgate dinner in the parking lot will kick off the evening. After dinner, we will golf our hearts out at Golf-n-Stuff in Ventura. This is a costumed event, so wear your best golf outfit! The cost is $14 for transportation, one game of golf, one ride, four arcade tokens and dinner. Register at the Impact Table on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.
July 21, 3:30 -11:30 pm, $15
Bring your Dodger gear, a sweatshirt and money for dinner. You can bring your own food into the park if it's in a 14-inch bag, and drinks must be in a sealed 1-liter bottle. Spaces are limited, so sign up soon at the Impact Table on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings.
We've found that some of the best times spent on trips is the time we spend together on the road. The "Road Trip" began eight years ago, and each year it is a totally different experience. Every destination is a carefully planned SURPRISE. All those involved in planning the trip have been sworn to secrecy—so don't ask, they won't tell! Last year the theme was "faith," and our journey took us biking from Newbury Park to Zuma Beach, on a boat to Catalina, from LA on a train to San Diego, and back to NPFCC. You will not want to miss this trip, so register soon at the Impact Table on Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings. A deposit of $150 will hold your spot.
