Middle School: 6th — 8th grades
Impact middle school ministry meets on Wednesday nights, 7:30-8:45 pm, in room 412 of the Family Life Center. Laughter, fun, games, singing praises to God, looking into the Bible and discussing things relevant to a middle school student's world make up a typical Wednesday night. We welcome anyone in 6th through 8th grade to join us!
D-Groups (Discipleship Groups) meet the 2nd & 4th Sunday afternoon/evening. Locations vary per group.
We believe that small groups are vital to growing a vibrant life as a follower of Jesus. This small group environment enables us to foster trusting relationships, fun experiences, to pray for each other, and to help when life gets hard. These same-gender Discipleship Groups are led by at least one Youth Leader of the same gender and take place twice a month. If your child would like to be in a D-Group, please register @ the Impact Table.

February 1st - Wednesday Rela Night: Youth Leader Scavenger Hunt

It’s like you’re walking in a real life version of Where’s Waldo. We’ll give you a paper with the mugs of the youth leaders you’ve come to know & love and it will be your team’s task to find them roaming about our local shopping complex. Good luck though, because they probably won’t look the same ☺. When you arrive to the church, we’ll give instructions, break you into teams, and jump into vans and vehicles to travel to the mall (which will be shared on the day of) where your quest to find all the leaders will begin! Bring $ for dinner if you get hungry.

Join us as we prepare the delicious tomato-based delicacy that is the perfect partner for tortilla chips, tacos, and burritos that will be eaten at our Mexico 2012 fundraising lunch this Sunday.
February 12th - Sunday Fiesta Lunch

Join us as we prepare the amazing food for our Mexico 2012 fundraising lunch. We will deck the Family Life Center Gym out in a lovely Mexico style and then we will prepare tacos, burritos, and pastries for hundreds of people from our church and community to raise support for our building project during Spring Break at Niños de Baja (an orphanage we support in El Porvenir, Mexico). The Fiesta Lunch will go from 12:15pm-2:15pm.

It’s a fun-filled night where our youth groups collide for one big youth program geared for those of you in Middle School. This Collide event will take place from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm at our own church!

What’s that? Socks, with just the Middle School group! For a full hour-and-a-half! YES!!!! Wear clothes you don’t mind getting sweaty and bring your friends for a battle a la stinky feet!
May 2nd - Impact Rela Night: Movie Night

This week we’ll be watching a movie (TBA) together. While we haven’t determined which movie yet, we do know that there will be popcorn, candy, and soda available for your consumption. Bring your friends for this low key, hangout night.

Tonight, we will divide into four different groups: the middle school girls, high school girls, middle school boys, and high school boys groups. Each group’s youth leaders will come up with a plan for your age group on what your group will be doing this night, so the cost and times may vary according to each group. Feel free to throw your youth leaders any good ideas you might have as to what you’d like your group to do!
June 6th – Impact

With school ending this week, you’ve got a lot going on, so we’re trying to make tonight’s Impact as helpful as possible for your study plans. It’s as basic as this: Show up, order some food off our menu, and eat dinner with us. If you need a place to veg, we’ve got it. If your study group needs a place to study, we’ve got just the rooms for you. If you want to throw a dodge ball to burn off some energy, we’ll have that going on as well!
June 10th – Promotion Sunday Breakfast
